Common questions

When a trade is agreed, the seller ships their card to HoloSwap — not directly to the buyer. We verify the card is authentic and matches the listing, then ship it to the buyer with Royal Mail Tracked. The trade only completes when the buyer confirms delivery. This means neither side takes on risk.

Every card goes through a verification process when it arrives at HoloSwap. We check for fakes, reprints, and any condition issues. If a card doesn't pass, the trade is flagged and the seller is notified. We don't let anything through that doesn't match the listing.

Sellers ship to HoloSwap with their own tracking number. Once we verify the card, we create a Royal Mail Tracked shipping label and dispatch it to the buyer. Both inbound and outbound tracking numbers are visible in your dashboard so you always know where the card is.

Every Pokémon TCG set ever released — from Base Set to the latest expansions. Search by set, card name, or card number when listing or adding to your want list.

Signing up, listing cards, and building your want list is completely free. We only charge a small fee when a trade is completed — this covers authentication, handling, and Royal Mail tracked shipping to the buyer.

If a card doesn't pass our authentication check, the trade is cancelled and the card is returned to the seller. The buyer is notified and can find another match. No one ends up with a card they didn't agree to.
